What's all this thing with SKETCHKEY and GOOGLE SKETCHUP?
Google came out several years ago with three-dimensional planning software. The software is not particularly strong but allows a very quick and intuitive planning and good especially for planning geometric forms and for furniture design in our case. We decided that we will improve through SKETCHUP the subject of the furniture design, which was always more complex than other designs. So we sat and we programmed some plugin for SKETCHUP and named it SKETCHKEY-DDC. This plugin knows to produce three-dimensional planning of cabinets, closets, chests, dressers and all other types of storage units of various types not by connecting lines and three-dimensional playing but by length, width and depth commands of every element from the cabinet components. You can also replace every element by another element from the large "components warehouse" we have built and designed and everything happens automatically just by a number of mouse clicks. It changed our thinking and course of action in many ways and we make extensive use of it to produce interesting and complex designs.
No less important is the planning time that became from very substantial to almost insignificant. Let's just say that what took three hours of planning before reduced to less than half an hour's work - crazy efficiency ... Only it took us a year and a half to program the SKETCKEY-DDC, efficiency? ...
So we decided to go on an international marketing and offer many of our development to the public and so we did.
